BB dealt with its first little challenge of 2008 when the power went out last night. Eventually, all the power was restored. But this proved to be a distraction for the team although the kids seemed to respond to the challenge. The power came back on in part of the building just in time for worship. The power returned in the rest of the building later in the night.
The teens used the lights out opportunity to play a game of hide & seek in the dark. Please pray that the team will come together and really focus on the Lord during worship times as well as ministry preparation times. A number of the adult leaders are dealing with distractions that are making this year more challenging than most. But we are believing that the Lord wants to do incredible things in and through everyone this year. Key prayer concerns: Focus on Jesus, Unity for the Team and Continued Safety.
